Beirut Historical Tour (half day)
Beirut’s new architecture – which includes contemporary high-rises, as well as Parisian-style buildings constructed in the old tradition with beautiful wrought iron work – blends well with the old. And the old can be very old. Visit the ruins of the Roman Baths near the Grand Serail, the Parliament building, martyrs’ square, Al-Omari Mosque, and St. Georges Cathedral, Beirut national’s museum. We will take later to see the renowned Rouche rock.
Jeita, Byblos (half day)
This is one of the most popular excursions we offer. The tour starts with Naher Al Kalb which goes back to Ramses II the famous Jeita’s two Grottoes (lower/upper): Lebanon’s most easily accessible natural miracles with kilometers of cave available to visitors. This tour will introduce Jbeil (Byblos): Believed to be one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. A visit to Byblos is a chance to walk through the annals of Lebanese history. Also you will enjoy experience its old souks, restaurants, sandy beaches, cafés.
Baalbeck & Anjar (half day)
Our tour is to the most beautiful & famous tour of Lebanon : Baalbeck, one of the largest and most noble Roman temples ever built(Jupiter-Bakhos-Venice), and also the best preserved, can be counted among the wonders of the ancient world. Towering high above the Beqaa plain, their monumental proportions proclaimed the power and wealth of imperial Rome. After Lunch in Baalback, you will have a whole new archeological experience at Anjar, which dates from the Umayad Dynasty. Other than a small Umayad Mosque in Baalbeck, there are few other remnants from this important period of Arab history in Lebanon.
Byblos, Jeita & Harissa (full fay)
Our tour starts with a visit to one of the most important archeological sites in the area, considered the longest continually inhabited city in the world: Byblos. Here you will enjoy walking through its castle, souks, cathedral port, restaurants, sandy beaches, and cafés etc…
Then continue the famous Jeita grottos; considered among the most important natural tourism features of Lebanon for its magnificent sceneries. The tour ends in Harissa, Lebanon Lady, where the statue of the Virgin dominates a sanctuary (a chapel in the pedestal). A panoramic view is guaranteed at the top of the statue.
Cedars, Becharreh & Kozhaya (full day)
This tour will start with the thousands year old Cedars grove at an elevation of 1800 meters, mentioned several times in the Bible. Continue to the home of Lebanon’s national poet Gibran Khalil: Becharreh, where you will visit Gebran’s Musuem and enjoy the glorious sights. After the Lunch in an excellent Lebanese Restaurant you venture in the mystic Qadisha valley to visit Kozhaya monastery, one of the numerous convents of the Holy Valley but the only one renovated and with easy access.
Sidon, Tyre & Maghdouche (full day)
Our tour starts at Sidon where we visit the Sea Castle, Khan El Franj and Soap museum. Then visit Tyre, second largest city in the south of Lebanon with its purest shores, have lunch in Tyre. Start by visiting the roman-Greece necropolis, with its second largest hippodrome in the world; continue to the old island of Tyre, to see the roman bathes theatres and the old port On the way back, we visit the temple of Echmoun: Each Phoenician city state had its own gods, and Echmoun the healing God was one of the favorites of Saida (Sidon). then we continue to Maghdouché’s most famous landmark is the tower of Our Lady of Mantara, which is a Marian shrine built (May 16, 1963) , above the cave that is believed to have been the resting place of the Virgin Mary as she waited for Jesus while he preached in Sidon. The tower height is 28 m, Statue height: 8.5 m, width: 3.5 m and the weight is 6 Tons
Beiteddin & Deir El-Kamar (half day)
Our tour begins with a visit a typical Lebanese village: Deir El-Kamar where we visit the Kayssarieh, Notre Dame Church, Fakhreddine Mosque and Marie Baz Museum. Continue to visit Beiteddin Palace of Emir Bashir (1788 – 1840) and Summer palace of the Lebanese Presidents from 1943 till 1983.
Lunch is served in an excellent Lebanese restaurant.
